1. There are various FILLERS (brands, ingredients, quality, and functionality). “Botox” is one brand (with strong recognition by/c of marketing). And yes, most entertainers and public facing women get them (even some high women in business), amongst other procedures. I personally know a few high ranking C-suite women that have had undereye fillers, a full tummy tuck, and lipo. We live in a patriarch and a youthful look is currency. That’s the objective truth and do with it whatever you want to live your life. IMO, be the best player or tear down the system - no use in being in denial or trying to play the middle.
2. I have been getting under eye fillers for a few years now (started mid-30’s). My goal is to look “refreshed”, so nothing drastic and once a year appointments (usually in spring). Botox was not the filler that was best to achieve what I wanted. I am very satisfied with my results. So my advice would be to do research and go to a professional that has done work you’re looking to achieve and/or mirrors your goals (like all medical procedures).
3. I’ve done other things over the past few years that have also significantly enhanced my aesthetics - consistent chemical peels & facials, better skincare products and routine, professional eyebrow shaping and microblading, Invisalign. Overall, working with professionals that specialize in optimizing facial features (including the nurse that does my fillers) vs DIY routines.
Good luck, do what’s best for you and be safe!
Dermora. Under eye patches for men & women. Removes puffiness or dark circles. The box is black & Gold. Looks high end. The patches are gold. I put in the fridge 20 minutes before I use them.
There’s a doctor on you tube that walks you through famous people over the years.
I thought it was interesting and foretelling.
I wouldn’t touch the stuff or put chemicals in my body unnecessarily.
Blessings

I feel like Angela Basset or Beyoncé have had Botox before might be worth researching up on them as well
They definitely have fillers. Those of us that have gotten know. Beyoncé also uses filters on everything…that’s why she doesn’t do meet and greets 👀☕️.
For reference of BW w/ fillers who actually look good with them, Naomi Campbell gets fillers. Cynthia Bailey has also talked about getting fillers every 6 months. I think she looks the best with it.
Also, I BELIEVE Teyana Taylor has gotten fillers. I believe she may have spoken about it in ESSENCE once but I could be wrong about what cosmetic enhancement she was talking about.
Cynthia and Naomi, I know for sure.
Almost every single black woman in entertainment/ Hollywood have fillers or some kind of cosmetic procedure (similar to their counterparts of other races). The men as well (Pharrell, Drake, Diddy to name a few).
