What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.
What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

Keep it on unless you have something more meaningful. A lot of jobless people around trying hard to get anything.
Very true!
Yes I’m going through the same thing. But I realize I’d rather have a paycheck than not.
Now that's the sad reality hey!?
Make a difference in what way? From JC is a 10 while a street bum is a zero where do you stand? Just making a living is a BIG difference to oneself.
So true! Thanks for reminding me to do inventory of the things I am grateful for 🙏🙏
Think that can be a very common feeling, a lot of people just never say it. A lot of the work is extremely slow, and with tons of red tape to go through, we rarely ever get to see the results in a normal time frame. Do you feel like it’s the work or just the outside factors? I know it can be both for me at times.
My work is people facing so sometimes I just find it so exhausting. Felling like no matter what I do it won't ever be good enough. The system makes it so challenging to actually get ahead sometimes.
I go through phases like this every year or so. Sometimes it has to do with work itself and other times it's just a life thing, like I am overwhelmed at home and work so it just bleeds into everything. I think taking care of your health can help with this a lot. Exercise and sleep are the two big things that help me stay motivated
Thanks for your advice and encouragement that it's a normal way to feel. Appreciate your words 😊
Yes. I recently was listening to the Mel Robbins podcast with Jay Shetty. He addresses this topic and what we can do to change our mindset in these circumstances.
Oooo I'll have to give it a listen! I've seen bits and pieces but not the whole thing. 🙏 Thanks
All the time. When clients are not appreciative. management just hides in their offices and have nothing positive to help motivate their team and seem pissed off when you ask them a question, all add up to not feeling very motivated. Just remember to look busy when really you are looking online for shoes (lol!) and use the job like employers use us: a means to an end.
I think most people have lost their ambition since covid and who can blame them? We are all waking up realizing this is not the life we were meant for. That you have to work 5 days a week with only two off and you are beyond exhausted after years of being on that hamster wheel just chill. Make a plan. Seek your joy! There is a reason why so many people are choosing van living, or tiny houses. We are done and fed up with the grind.
Amen to that! I hope you find you "van life" and get some joy back soon 😊
