Left Deloitte after 3.5 years; what happens to my vested pension? Thanks in advance!

Hi FIRE friends! My mom is going to get about 250k from the sale of her house in a few days. She’s 58 and has very little saved for retirement (immigrated to the US at 45 so only about 50k in her retirement savings currently). She’s maxing out 401k, Roth IRA, and HSA. I’d love to get all of your thoughts, where do you think she can put the money from the sale of her home?

I’m trying to buy my first house and my wife and I have a few IRAs from previous employers (Roth and non Roth). I read I won’t be penalized if I take out upto 10k from my IRAs for a first time house (except for taxes on the non-Roth accounts). Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?
