Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Do it if you believe in the start up
You sound junior so I’ll be gentle: be super wary of WLB promises at a startup, they often are bs.
Another thing to keep in mind is your comp ramp over time, startup may do well and you can dip into this with equity... or it may fold and you lose everything. While comp at MBB progresses fast and predictably.
Youre not specific of what type of “tech” you want to exit to, are you thinking Series A? or FAANG? Whether you should exit right now or not depends on this.
Would do it if you are getting equity, believe in company, and feel you’ve made solid relationships at bain
Is it backed by top investors? How much funding do they have? Good qs to ask yourself. Happy to chat if u dm me

Do it. MBB will always be there. You can take a year or two with the start up and even if it doesn't go anywhere you will have a new wealth of experiences to tap into.
Speaking for myself if I were in your position, I would not take it. MBB is so valuable on your resume and after 1 year you haven’t fully received the benefits of that, at 2-3 years the conversation would be flipped. The only way I’d leave MBB after year 1 is for a similar brand, so FAANG + unicorns.
I think the real question is if you believe in the viability and potential of the startup. If you’re a good performer, you can always bounce back to MBB in case it doesn’t work out (a bunch of colleagues have done this)
I would say do it and you can always boomerang back to any consulting firms.
I left my first job in consulting after 10 months. Every person I worked with told me the door is always open to come back whenever I want. As long as you have good relationships, it seems like little risk.
Lol it’s not a major red flag. You’re in year 1 of a multi decade career.
But if you believe in the startup and the team then do it
M gives you an offer to return if you perform well - usually given after your 1y mark, may want to look into/think about that
