Live in a pretty fancy area in SF and whenever I'm out with my husband people seem to want to ask me about ethical concerns with being in the military, such as the "use of force" and "collateral damage". I'm kind of like, well how long do you have for me to explain what I actually do and the nuances of how I feel about it? Cause you can ask that quesiton in 1 minute but it'll take me at least an hour to answer and I'm not a fan that you've set me up to look like an idiot when we're about to be interrupted to toast someone making Partner. And to be honest...I don't owe you the answer.

Am I the only one who fears a third world war is among us? I've been studying the circumstances that led to WW1 and WW2, and let me tell you, we're not as far as they were. I hope the better judgment of people avoids such a catastrophic outcome.
