I am so sorry. What a horrible feeling. Even the smallest practice expects some repair or replacement. Over my career I have definitely broken a few expensive things. Hang in there.

During my working interview i unknowingly dropped the usb cord in cup of bleach and left in there through entire endo procedure-a $12,000 mistake. Luckily the doctor was understanding, hired me, and i spent the next 13 years making it up to her! I also made sure we always bought the insurance in the future, which got used more than once!
One day I knocked down 15 plus o2 and n tanks in a small corner on tile the tinging noise haunts me still today and being one that never used them before I thought my life was over lol
It will all work out lesson learned and just be sure to keep dr in mind for birthdays or Xmas with an extra thank you!
One day I was cleaning the scanner we use for scanning crowns. I dropped the head and it shattered into many pieces. Cost the company 7 thousand dollars. Ouch!
They were very nice about it. But I felt terrible. Sh__t happens I guess..
Smart doctors purchase warranty on big equipments like that.
