Looking for recommendations on best offsite storage company/facilities in the US. Needs to be able to handle shipment direct from importers/stores/wineries. Ideally able to handle shipments in bond. Looking for long term storage mainly for personal consumption over the years but selling a case/bottle or two in 10 years isn’t out of the picture. Have a facility in Europe but would be great to also have space in the US.

Domaine Storage is great. I use their DC location.

That is a good price compared to the ~$1100/annually they quote online for 28 cases standard storage

Any insights on pricing? They say $10/case which seems either super cheap or a somewhat premium depending on frequency

Interesting concept, essentially a robo advisor for wine at the lower tiers. Might be interesting for the future but current inventory and purchases are going to be much more driven by sentimental elements (and consumption) and less on optimizing investment and returns

I use mana wine in NYC - $44 / month for my 20 cases. They get you on the in/out fees but I am holding out for the long term. I live in DC and looked around at local options - including domain storage - all were 3x the price. They receive shipments

Thanks, that’s not a bad price! Will explore. I like they have bonded warehouse also.

Damn,

McKinsey & Co. and BCG we see you. 👀👀

Big fan of this one. Not super bold. More velvety. Subtle leathery taste, hints of vanilla! I picked up a half case for 120, or $20 a bottle! I may actually buy more. 8/10 for price and taste. Very elegant.
