Take PTO, rest well, and return. Take care of yourself. God forbid if anything happens to your health and you end up at the hospital your job will find a replacement. It’s that simple. So, take care of yourself.

Are you me? Honestly it’s the constant burn on projects and inability to turn off notifications. Separation of work and life doesn’t exist for us anymore.
Start working out
Chief
This helps me out immensely with brain fog
Did you have covid? I kinda had that for a few weeks even though I was healthy again
Rising Star
This happened to me in the middle of the year and I basically just decided to use every bit of PTO that I had and took a month off of work to recover. After a week of no commitments or obligations I started to feel like myself again, after 2 weeks I was out and about exploring the world on an impromptu trip, and after 3 weeks I felt revived enough that I actually missed work
How do you all cope with it? It’s making me depressed
That’s a big range for a “hard stop” lmao
Unfortunately yes
Hmm, agreed with D1 but if that's not what you're looking for, have you tried high concentration sports? I do boxing & lemme tell you, that 3 mins in the ring per round helps keep your head so so straight and uber focus. It helps putting literally everything aside & the mental clarity is insane.
No on the covid right now. But I’ve had had covid 3 times in past 2 years so might be dealing with some long covid. I work out a few times a week - mix of heavy weights and light cardio
Try walking too. Much lower impact, but you can still get a good workout in if you walk relatively fast for a longer time period. I walk around 3 to 5 miles every morning and then I lift when I get home. Usually feel pretty good after doing that.
I am the same, have been feeling that way for the last year. Work isn’t especially stressful so I don’t think that is it. I do have ADHD though so that is a possibility. If I don’t take my meds, brain fog is really bad. It’s almost like I am daydreaming without them. My doctor recommended I try taking a high dose of vitamin d to help, but my levels aren’t below the norm. I also work out 4 days a week but nothing really helps besides my ADHD meds.
Yes started a mediation routine and exercise 4-5 days a week even if it’s for 15 minutes
It actually can be symptom of chronic stress and burn out.
Please take care 😌

Get in a routine. Wake up at 530. Go for a 4 mile run at 6. Work by 730. Finished by 630 -7. Take a melatonin at 9. You will be lights out by 10. I feel great
100%. Been like this for awhile now. It’s rough.

Add constant neck tension and you’re basically me
Yes it’s the worst. I have Bipolar Disorder with heavy depression and ADHD in addition to a chronic pain disorder. Between all of that and the meds it can be incredibly challenging. I found the fog is lifted more at night and in the early morning so I shift my schedule when I can to match that. I’m not sure if that’s an option for you. Also, sticking to daily routines, especially sleep, is supposed to help a lot too. Good luck!
😞 yep
Ladies, only you and you alone have the power to change your life
People saying to take a few days off are right.
Also recommend you workout and get some time outside a couple times during the work week, even if it’s just a 20-30 minute walk. Then look at what you’re eating - I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten a little older that eating junk makes me feel like junk, and it truly does affect your mental capacity.
