I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

Looking to make the move from big4 to law firm. I am a JD/LLM and a new manager. Any suggestions on networking with COVID, recruiters, etc.? Also interested in hearing experiences of others that have made the move.

Anyone else experiencing rejection after rejection? I have 10+ years in customer facing support w/ the last 4 years in Customer Retention Escalations with high retention outcomes for subscription/contract based services. I’ve been trying to shift into Customer Success Management but not landing any interviews. Update resumes to coincide with every post, cover letters, you name it. Has anyone appeared recently for Microsoft drive, how many days does HR typically takes to get back to the candidate for the results, it's been a week and the HR is ghosting me, I've gone through 4 rounds of interview including hiring manager.

Had a lateral “screener” interview for an AmLaw 100 firm in May with 2 partners and was ghosted (but never given a formal rejection). I received a call two weeks ago asking me to interview, with HR stating that they were looking to make additions & wouldn’t string someone along. I had my callback with about 5 people and am now being asked to meet with further people. Is that normal?

Any tips for how to better implement feedback on drafts? My work is so heavily redlined that I struggle to consistently follow through with every comment/feedback. Now recently I got a offer frm wipro. here also I did not tell that I was earlier termined by wipro.If wipro asks me to provide NSR details during my joining, does NSR have my previous exp in their db? Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.

I work in FP&A consolidations at a large sell side bank. I moved internally after working in the planning group of a Working Capital Solutions business. I often feel like I would enjoy client facing or advisory work because it would help me build a skill that could translate to me potentially running my own advisory firm one day… I feel my role just looks at numbers on a page which doesn’t help me develop translatable subject matter skills or expertise.
