I don’t think you should look at your salary as justification to buy a luxury watch or not. As long as you are saving, don’t have much debt, why not treat yourself? Just don’t go crazy, be financially responsible.

There's no "right" answer on this one and it's probably different for all of us based on other hobbies (cars, travel, etc). So long as you have the money and aren't taking away from other necessities, go for it.
My rule of thumb is that it shouldn’t cost more than 1% of your net worth.
