Alvarez & Marsal Looking to get into RX and really my only option in my city at the moment is Ankura Consulting. Anyone know how decent the work is? I've read previously that they are more of a boutique. Clearly AlixPartners and Alvarez & Marsal are the top dogs in RX but just curious on how Ankura stacks up against the rest for Debtor side.

I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..
I am bit confused with commonwealt

A&M is also geographically flexible and in my experience pays significantly more than Alix (have worked at both)
What do you mean by geographically flexible?
Ankura is a solid shop. Competes with BRG for upper middle market. Mostly debtor side engagements with some UCC work. Definitely a brand name in the Restructuring world
Just to clarify, AlixPartners does not expect you to live in a city with office. You live anywhere
You don’t even need to live in the same country
We are very bonus heavy and I’ve never heard of Akita. Do you have any RX skills? Let’s chat if you do
Does anyone know of Restructuring firms that are in the Salt Lake City/Denver markets?
