Looking to get some advice: Was laid off at the end of last year, received an offer this week for a job at a national Bank, but entry level (I interviewed for anything that I could find in the last 3 months). I got an offer of $100k base but requires me to commute 3x a week and is about 140 miles of driving each week (6 hours).

I countered the offer seeking more compensation to take in consideration of the commute requirements and financial strain it would cost over time. They said no. WWYD?

Curious what the base and commission structure is for inside sales and associate director of sales in biotech (also anyone else who wants to share pls put industry). Paid hourly or salary? At the biotech company I work at avg inside sales is $62,632 with a $3500 per quarter cap. Commission structure is % based on sales quota reached vs capped (not a direct % of sales). I’m underpaid at $53000 with $3500 cap per quarter.

I wanted to gauge what is a general salary that ones been offered on this team. I felt lowballed at $79k/annual, initially offered 74k. I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today.
