Looking to join an accounting related role at Google. I'm curious if I should even apply to roles that have a higher years of experience requirement than I have. I'm leaving my firm after 1.5 in tax and would be promoted to Senior in the summer. My goal isn't a jump in salary (in fact, I'd be happy with the same amount I make now). It's just that my division was recently sold off and there's no way I can stay. Thank you!

I just learned I was parentified severely, especially emotionally. The discovery came from outside of therapy, but having a place every week to sit down, slow down & reflect def led to it. Being enmeshed with my parents like this was a cause for my anxiety, low self esteem and workaholic, people pleasing tendencies. I'm working on extricating myself and finding my identity again in a way that will be easy on my conscience and values..so I'm learning! Please dont hesitate to go to therapy!...

Completed onsite interviews for the TAM role and recruiter gave me feedback that my technical depth wasn’t up to par for the role but my googleness/leadership and GCA interview feedback was stellar so they plan to propose me for Cloud PM roles instead. Does this happen? Or are they just being nice? What’s the probability that they’ll match me to another role?
