I totally get wanting a change after 15 years on the road! Have you thought about transitioning to a logistics or warehouse manager role? I've known warehouse workers who have previously been drivers. When you've driven for that long you have so much experience in the industry, I think it can be a solid transition and these jobs are usually first shift with weekends off. Plus, no more driving!

I actually used to do warehousingas kind of a hybrid of driver/ warehouse. I could do it again ( warehous work) if the right opportunity arose

Amazon has transportation associate jobs that are onsite all you do is move the trailers in the yard schedule the delivery and departures communication with the companies and vendors .. all u need is a CDL .

Yeah, i wont work for Amazon. Known people that have worked for them and i have done owner operator loads for them.. they dont treat employees well at all

So far, I have heard:
- March
- May
- June
- July but with salary effective from April (paid as arrears in July). Something similar for June as well.

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? For example, if I'm GS 9, receive a promotion to GS 11 at the end of probation, would i be able to apply to GS 13 roles if I'm qualified? Tried researching this for hours but only found info on applying to other agencies.

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?
