Been working at my company as a new grad for almost a year, but don’t see myself in the team that I am in (working with Salesforce) for long term. Interested in frontend dev and have been learning on my own. Manager says chase doesnt have much React opportunities. Is it possible to make a switch when I barely have experience? I’m a TPS holder and I have an EAD, I started my job with this and have been working for them for 4 months now. I work at a large nonprofit. TPS and EAD renewal application submitted, and with the new card I’ll be able to work until 2024. I haven’t asked my employer if H1B sponsorships is an option. Is it too early to ask? Should I wait until I build more credibility?

Immigration lawyers had sent me a questionnaire to fill out for Manager PERM. They now just came back saying that they need to assess me for a different position. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if this means they’ll now just file a Senior Perm instead? Asked them but they’re not very responsive.
