Anyone from EYP…I’m applying to “Strategy & Transactions Working Capital Consultant/Senior”. I have the experience, six sigma, PMP etc stated in the description. How can I proactively position myself to earn the interview? I’m afraid I might get auto rejected because I have way more than 2 years experience, but I know industry experience is weighted different. Appreciate any help, insight, or anyone willing to chat. I would think yes, adcoms know which roles are more / less impressive. (Never asked one directly, so I’m speculating).
It’s an interesting debate for b school - rather an impressive role at lower tier company or less impressive role at top tier company? I’d personally rather have the more interesting role, but don’t know if the choice is clear cut

Im in this boat now considering back office at a top quant hedge fund vs manager in strategy at some random mid market company

Got me.

Bigger problem would be "spinning" your role so much that you appear dishonest. If they think you're being disingenuous, your application won't get a second glance.
If you can actually speak to your strategic experience, you're fine. Alao, if you don't want to be in consulting long-term, a stint at FAANG probably won't hurt.
