It’s company culture, the sort of retaliation we have no control over. I went through it once and was destroyed in my year end. Second time I just didn’t submit my snapshot to the manager and didn’t list them in my year end review at all. They play chess you gotta play checkers

I’ve also learned the hard way not to ask to be rolled off a project... some people in upper level management have fragile egos and take these things personally.
A2, we all have to do stuff that isn’t in line with our goals, especially in an economic crisis. It’s not about having a fragile ego, it’s about delivering what we are getting paid for. When you ask to be rolled off because the project doesn’t interest you, you’re asking your manager to drop everything to find your replacement. Did you offer to help? What about knowledge transfer?
Maybe you did and you did a seamless transition , I don’t know.
I’m not trying to be harsh, I’m just saying there’s more than your interest at play.
Managers really start believing they are gods. These are the kind of people that have no idea how to be a leader or manage power when they get any sort of responsibility.
What’s crazy is he seemed like such a nice guy too. Always made small talk and said let me know if you need anything

Wrecks your scatter plot? Can you shed more light on this statement? Also how are you getting fired?
We have a ethics hotline for this stuff - it’s clearly called retaliation.
Deloitte seems like an incredible place to work 😳

How are scatterplots done at Accenture?
We don’t have scatterplots. The feedback we do is more through a document or achievement tool, we can still get wrecked for that too, if the manager retaliates
