Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

I agree.
For almost 6 months, I kept applying for jobs — but didn’t get shortlisted by most companies because of my notice period.
So I changed my strategy.
I started attending interviews as an immediate joiner. I cleared a few rounds, but didn’t proceed further. That process gave me clarity, confidence, and helped me understand what companies expect.
Once I felt confident in my skills, I resigned.
Then I started giving interviews seriously.
Result?
4 offers.
100% hike.
Lesson:
Don’t let external factors like notice period define your worth.
Believe in your skills.
Keep improving.
Play smart.
This is most relevant approach for growth advance preparation and observation, bring confidence that you will get it and then resignation. But always have some money backup for this activity which brings you strong confidence and safe feeling.
3 Months notice period is all Indian organisation scam, all companies doing that together. Everyone has to learn, tackle and fight to difeet this 3 months companies NOTICE monster. Feels like a court NOTICE. I am not from legal background but someone has to done something about it and raise concerns in labour court.
Main problem is if u resign, HR will make us accept same or minimum hike package.
Without resign they will say immediate joiners.
It's a scam either way.

Very true. I too resigned from my job last year. I had no job for one month. I was an immediate joiner. I wouldn't say I got no calls. On Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday I would get a call, attend interview and then get rejected. The problem is that current recruitment process is about exaggeration. They expect you to know everything. Though we somehow manage to perform well in technical rounds, the organisation might back out any time. I literally waited two weeks for infosys to get back after performing really well in a technical round ( interviewer himself mentioned that he was very impressed). After two weeks they simply updated that rejected after interview. There is literally no way we can question the processes followed by these companies. If this is not enough, there are many companies which just post role openings every few days. In reality they do not intake for those role. And some companies just post externally but complete the recruitment within the organisation citing the organisation policy. One should be very careful before resigning. Luckily I got back into my previous company but all these experiences inflicted humiliation and inferiority complex upon my psyche
+1
You got to consider the context behind such advice.
And people share their perspective about what they think is valid in a situation. I can just as well bash your post saying you are limiting your choices by not quitting. And worse yet I can criticise you for even making your statement (ridiculous, I know). But that’s what you are doing here friend. 😁
Adding to what I said earlier, the most problematic case is anything over 2 months notice period. You may not realise so many well paying companies pass over resumes who have high notice period because it’s impossible to close those.
Another case is people stuck in incredibly bad no-win environment because they think monthly pay check is sufficient to cover the pain of not having a job. They will end up dragging their bad days for many months if not years with no focus or urgency to find a job. Whatever money they saved is lost because they never got the next company’s hike.
Everything depends upon context. If you think you would rather have a job than quit and find one, could be valid for you, sure
Truly agree...I myself have make the same mistake 2 years back
Agree! I got offer in an MNC with 10% hike I thought I can get more offers and can negotiate here again , it didn’t happen that way I applied for more than 60 and hardly got 6,7 calls back.
Now I have 10 days left in my notice period I just have same offer which I got first and nothing else
Now I m confused if it is good to move or not
During interviews, mention that you already have an offer in Hand and that you are an immediate joiner.
This will increase the chances and the process also.
If they ask to show the offer letter, just tell them it's an NDA, and you can only share a screenshot of the CTC and not more than that.
After saying immediate joiner how long u can delay? I think not more than 2 weeks will be accepted?
