Maybe in some other industries you might be tanking your career, but I don't think so in ours. Longevity and tenure goes a long way in healthcare. We're like one big aging family. It also depends on what you do, your role/position.
You make a good point! I’m speaking from the administration side.
I believe they are. But that’s just how the older generation is. They typically have strong company loyalty for some reason. Even when my facility is hiring we are wary of the individuals who’s been at the same company for 10+ years because it makes us question if they can adapt to a new environment and won’t be stuck in their ways.
On the same note, i love my current facility and coworkers. If our team of directors and CEO stayed the same I’d happily stay here for 10 years lol.
