Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

Chicago is supposedly going to start having quarterly merit raises if your reviews are consistently positive. SUPPOSEDLY. Ive only had one merit increase and ive been there over a year. It was small. But others around me have been promoted in less time.
True on the quarterly raises and promotions. I was asked to submit people last week for both. It can still take a while to get them through since it's only been in effect a couple quarters. Hoping it works out the slowness as the agency gets used to it. Much better than the maybe twice(if we're lucky) submission period.
Chicago or NY?

In NY, I would say you prob have to ask your manager, don't just ask but provide reasoning as to why you deserve a raise.. I don't know about just regular raises just bc of cost of living but "merit" increases i would say ask and ask now because they have to put names in now for March promos/increases
Oh, but on the cost of living bump... Have not seen that to date personally
COl adjustments happen often, and are characterized differently than merit increases. HR also looks at marketplace cost by level and often makes adjustments. It seems to focus on a level at a time.
does anyone know about the merit raise policy at starcom?
Also worth noting you get +6% if you get above target on your year end review and 3% for on target
% increases vary year over year based on the total pool. I wouldn't bank on those numbers.
