Midwest. Not my first choice, but I’m not going to be caught in the pending water crisis in a few years when the millions in the Southwest realize they can’t have golf courses & lawns.

Depends on the city itself
It’s all about your heat tolerance.
Cold tolerance too. I’m from the Chicago suburbs and would love to move south purely for the weather.
Also take into account what your transportation method would be. If you ain’t got a car that limits a lot of places in the Midwest. Chicago is pretty much the only place you can solidly go without one in the Midwest.

Neither. 🤣😉
Ya ^ I’m tryna escape too. I’m so over the shitty transportation infrastructure In the SE Michigan area. Lived in seattle for 2 years and SF for 3 years and I’m missing getting to use trains for transit instead of mf buses.
Visited Chicago last week and I was amazed at the train system they have. So salty now that I’m back in Michigan with our lovely big auto companies that lobby against public transit for increased profits ❤️
Southwest. Warm year round, dry heat. Lots to do outside for all seasons. Pending on where you live, decently cheap. I am guessing Southwest is Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Parts of California, Colorado, Arizona, and maybe Utah. Midwest is Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Parts of PA / Nebraska / Dakotas.

Do you want passive aggressive or authentic and destructive crazy? Arizona is basically a second Florida and much of the Midwest is exhausting.

Yeah, that was completely insane, F1. I’m not sure what motivated the American right to embrace being a nihilistic death cult, but it’s dangerous to everyone.
Southwest if you enjoy the outdoors. But like all things, it depends.

Southwest for weather, growth prospects, and culture.
