For me, it's "please advise". That phrase really gets to me for some reason. It's basically saying you don't know how to do your job and now that I have to tell you again.
Please advise is wrong when you are the one with authority on that matter and you are asking someone else who is above you to make your choices for you. If you are not the one with final say on the matter then it's respectable and fine.
Let’s find a better use of meeting time to discuss offline
“Correct me if I’m wrong but…”
“I sent an email to _____ but they never responded” especially while leaving that person on the thread.
“I don’t know anything about that. I was on PTO.” I know this doesn’t seem passive aggressive but when you taking the blame off you implicitly points the finger to others, it’s as bad if not worse.
