US degree is not as valuable in India as people think . There are a lot of people who are that way
I think it’s a pretty decent offer based on what info u provided so far...but again depending on what skills you have you could find better offers
It is a good deal
EY3 - OP is write why can’t you share those details here. We would like to know as well.
Given my experience level, is this expected salary or I am being low balled?

C1 not top 15.
P1 : didn't get pick in lottery.
Seems reasonable to high end for sc..
Would vary based on your practice area I’d think as well .. but 22 lpa sounds decent for sc
Which city? If Mumbai/Delhi you can do betyer
City ?
22 LPA is a great package!
One more thought- while the package is good for SC..given that you have 5.5 years of exp.. some people may have pushed for a manager role..depending on what was the nature of the entire experience
It’s hard to get promoted in India
Which practice of EY India and location? Can you provide more details as my H1B visa got rejected as well and I'm exploring options to move back to India.
With a US MBA you could try to negotiate upto 30L... would have been easier if you were a manager but yea... negotiation 101 if they already know you are leaving US due to visa issues they know your BATNA is not that great
Sorry OP, not a good situation. 22 Lac per annum isn’t enough specially in places like Bangalore, Delhi (and just forget Bombay). You should have negotiated for 30 Lacs. With 22 Lacs, your monthly take home will be around 1.15 Lacs....can’t save anything with that.
OP. It’s a great offer. The best of all is that it’s in India. No pressure of visa anymore for you and you can truly focus on your career without narrowing down to companies that only sponsor. Give your best at your career and you can jump ship if you are not well compensated or promoted. Congrats!!
