Moving internally at my agency from AAE to AE. What’s been your typical salary increase from experience? (AAE x amount, AE y amount?)

Look at industry average. People say Glassdoor is either too high or too low, but it give you some context. Assume you won’t get that number since you’ll always make more moving than progressing upwards at your agency at least initially.

35 AAE to 45 AE. A little over a year later was able to negotiate with an offer on the table to 60. All internal.

AAE 40, AE 50 (or get another offer and see if they’ll match if you want something higher).

@OP just pay attention to the % increase. The salaries themselves are meaningless because no one says the city. Expect a 15%-25% increase.

AE 4, assuming HR did not budge or want to negotiate for higher salary?

Depends on market. I made 38K as AAE and 46K as AE in Philly promoted internally. That was back in the day 10 years ago 😏

interviewed at a company through consulting/staffing firm - got the offer and signed offer letter - gave 2 week notice. One day before my start date, they tell me SOW was not signed. Now I’m jobless.
