My company is very chilled and I am trusted to work at home on my normal hours, I can go a day with not hearing from anyone which is nice to allow me to catch up on a load of tasks with no distractions but it also makes me feel great knowing they 100% trust me and I am not being monitored and screen time checked etc.

How does everyone else cope with management allowing them to work from home? Are you monitored or do you have the relaxed freedom feeling?

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?
