I think what you did was appropraite. I think emailing your boss could be the next step if it doesn't stop. You can still try to go up the chain of command or you can also ignore it. I know that is kind of hard but sometimes we just have to let these little things slide.
God if there's one thing I hate so much, it's toxic coworkers. It's not a coincidence that every workplace must have one. If I were you I'd probably ignore them, be the bigger person even though it's easier said than done.
You should report her! Not the other way around. What a toxic coworker!
Let her email the boss. Your coworkers will surely back you up. Do you have other documents or records against him?
