Why is that instead of having accountability for things that aren’t fair, women resort to calling men incels

Past experience; men do the same all the time.

Need more context.

Agree with this some men really are just incels 😂

As a man, I say some men are just incels, tbh.

What you describe does happen though

Have a first year who consistently spends time spinning/documenting things that are clearly immaterial. Have told them to not spend time and just pass on things since we audit to materiality. They don't listen and it ends up becoming inefficient. Sometimes I feel like they don't respect me when I say that but audit simply isn't that deep. How can I be more effective in getting the message across?

When you tell your manager you are unhappy and they are excited that you are putting your notice and don't try and make any changes b/c the new person/persons they are lining up will just cleanup and make it better.

Then, they get here and you are left to train them on everything you do and your manager keeps saying "I owe you an apology" because they didn't realize how taxing and mind wrecking most processes you handled were... welcome to corporate

Please save the tobacco hate. I smoke a cigar at least once a day. I grew up around the cigar (and rum) industry, so I genuinely appreciate it. It came out during a conversation with one of the partners in my practice group. He and I go to the same Cigar Lounge when I am not ordering from Cigars International. The Rum industry also came up (my ancestors were actual Rum Runners during prohibition.)

Nevertheless, he suggested that we meet up at our lounge for cigars. Thoughts?

The firm has great Glassdoor reviews and everyone I have spoken to so far seems really happy there. But I am still nervous about the transition straight to biglaw. Any advice?

So my question is, is it weird for me to ask him if he’d be interested in dinner next week? Should I take the left on read as a sign/red flag, etc?

After reading a lot of posts and threads on this app, I can’t believe how many men get into relationships that are pretty much dependent on how much money they make and the lifestyle they could provide. My girlfriend is nothing like this and I couldn’t love her more. Love shouldn’t be contingent on terms and conditions like income and lifestyle.

At my uncles wedding in Madrid I remember lying down on the grass in the courtyard after their first dance and crying, my Dad came and saw me, laid down in his suit beside me and asked what was wrong.

“I know my boyfriend wouldn’t dance with me like that at our wedding”

And we just lay there as I cried, and then got up. Had a drink.

Said boyfriend left years ago, and now I have a wonderful man who just asked me what type of dance lessons I want for our wedding next year.

Don’t give up.

I (28F) went on a date and everything was going great until the guy (33M) revealed he was currently carrying an active handgun on his belt for protection. So I am in a city where my ex lives (nothing major, just a few dates at some point). He tends to watch and ‘react’ to most of my stories on Instagram. I asked him last night via insta if he any restaurant recommendations as I am here with husband and friends and we wanted somewhere fun to go. He hasn’t read it or responded, but clearly watched every single story. Isn’t that sort of rude? I don’t know if I have done something to annoy him but I don’t know how!

Help - want to propose to the GF soon. I wanna buy a nice ring possibly as a surprise, but have no clue about the steps of this thing. What's the proper sequence (this is my first guess).

1. Ask her parents
2. Discuss about the ring/stone etc?
3. Buy the actual ring
4. Plan a surprise proposal

For added context, we already discussed the wedding and also possibly going for lab diamonds.
