Hugs and head on swivel is the best advice I have. Do not emote nor show your intellect unnecessarily. Think of it as a weapon that should be used and displayed strategically. Trust no one but always appear friendly.
Finally treat yourself well because they will not.

every communication between you and this person needs a written recap.
I would tell the Project lead I didn't want to embarrass him, but based on the X project overview he gave; there are concerns that 'Bob' may have a health challenge impacting his memory. So you are keeping them in the loop on what he shares, in case there are similar gaps.
Most importantly, you need to keep a journal accounting of these issues in this office:
date, time, who was there, and what happened.
This is for the EEOC, and it's BS that you have to consider going to the EEOC, but that is the unfortunate reality; if you don't the data is not compiled and the problem never goes away.
Hugs, take lots of deep breaths, and make sure to wear your favorite looks as much as possible when working.
When you look good, you feel good; and that projects even in remote spaces.
Hopefully energy alone will shut these losers down and if not - that is why you have your journal.
