My final round of interviews with McKinsey is on Friday. I made good progress, but I still feel unprepared.. or at least not meeting the bar, in my subjective opinion. What can I do to increase confidence and focus? Should I just wing it at my current project and try to practice with somebody as many times as I can? TIA

Beginning to think I structured a (freelance) project poorly. Deliverables are 3-5 T-shirt designs, which will *also* serve as part of foundation for their existing branding.
I’m working at my hourly rate, and delivered several concept sketches. Since they want to use these designs for multiple swag items beyond T-shirts, should I have included licensing fees per usage (mugs, etc), or just raised my hrly rate? Or just do flat rate per concept that details usage options?

I faked my resume I mean my contracting firm did and I didn’t have choice and I got the job. Now my client wants to offer me a full time position. I kind of feel like they trust me with the work I’m doing and also considering my past experiences to offer me a full time and moreover it’s only been 3 months.

I know it’s a little unusual but what do you guys think/suggest me to do in this situation?!

I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously. I haven’t found what I need to motivate myself and I’m hoping that others could share what motivates them to get back into it after a hectic time

How do you deal with a boss that dislikes you? I haven’t received a single opportunity to work on a new project even though I’m doing all of my tasks on time and I’m doing them accurately. I have automated some reports and built a lot of reports from scratch. Yet my boss never communicated to me and doesn’t seem to value my opinions.

My boss asked me to take care of some of the details of a project for her—the stuff that isn't really my area of expertise. And now I feel like a shirker because I haven't been able to finish them yet.

Tax Senior here. I’m well liked around the office, I put in the hours and work hard, I haven’t had any dumpster fire projects, but I am a mediocre performer compared to my peers (not as strong project management, communication, not as confident). I just got told they’re firing me. Should I expect severance? Have other people been fired for similar? What did you do with your career?

Is an offer after only a first screener a red flag?

Tiger Analytics has started firing their new joineers(freshers) as they don't have adequate projects. I don't know where the freshers will go as they haven't done any project as such.

This is just pathetic from organization. They are just firing people owing to failing a test of certification, for which other company gives 3 trials but they are giving only one try with negative markings

They have already given the offer to someone else, but they still want to bring me on board and they asked me what I would like to do. I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

Well this is gonna be long post.
Working at hybrid model of IT company and PSU company. My employer IT company lost bid and now the contract is of another company. We have been asked that contract over as on 31.7.2022 and we are supposed to go and sit at company office. It's a loss of pay for 100 people on project. Our company said we can't join new bidder company because we signed agreement on offer letter that we won't be joining client for atleast a year. It's inconvenient and crazy for us.
