Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

I would ask if it’s a mistake. I don’t know if hiring an employment lawyer is worth it for an extra $1/hr, but it’s likely illegal, and at least unethical, to pay someone less than the offer they accepted. I imagine it’s also uncommon.
Definitely clarify if it was a mistake. HR or payroll should be able to sort this out for you. If it's intentional or they're unhelpful, then it might be time to talk to a lawyer. My guess is it won't come to that. I can't see them digging their heels in over $40/week.
If you have a written offer double check it against your pay document. If there's definitely a discrepancy bring it to someone's attention. It's possible it's just a mistake and they'll correct it. I'm wondering if there's an explanation, perhaps a deduction for some reason. In any event, try to get to the bottom of it.
