Mck1 you’d think so but they mostly do it based on billabilty at lower levels. It’s a real shit system that encourages people to get on long term projects that may not align with the practitioners interests or skill sets.
Almost impossible for 4. Mostly like 3, since you’ve (nearly) met the goal of utilization and your project supports you. What do you mean by working < 50 hrs on a project? Then how did you get your utilization > 90?
Doesn't D rate on performance? Like every decent company?
Nobody gets a 4 their first year unless you really screw up. Don’t worry about it
Nah you’ll get a 3 or better, if you were on track for a 4 your counselor would already have a conversation with you
As long as your work performance on the project met expectations you should be good.
@D1 not really. There’s still a heavy focus on utilization and managing teams that effectively penalizes people that aren’t on large long-term projects.
Sound average if you’re asking for opinions.
What’s your level? Do you have an sales credit? Do you help with recruiting? It takes a lot more than utilization to get a high rating
What kind of feedback have you been receiving from your project manager?
Prob not worth a 4 until you get greater than and less than sorted out
Does getting a 4 automatically put you in danger of being put on PIP or on way of being fired? Especially since a 4 is mostly because of low firm initiatives hours?
Yes D9. But a 4 is not bc you don’t do any firm initiatives. It’s more than that. It’s poor performance all around
D4, 7 years ago, UK.
What level?
At D the rating system goes 1 = best and 5 is worse. Unless you did some major business development or went above and beyond on your project (per manager, partner, client, etc.) most first years get a 3. Hitting utilization and doing firm initiatives is expected, it doesn’t help you; but not doing it will definitely hurt you.
You’ll probably get a “3” or equivalent since they’re doing away with a numerical rating system.
How much did. you sell?
D6- that’s changed
Once again, that’s changing. It was in the OP model discussion. And it doesn’t apply to first eat anyway
I received very good reviews from My project managers overall, Level: Consultant
@Op ratings have not come out yet or been decided for this YE, how do you know you got a 4? You’ll get a 3 most likely
Tech or S&O? Tech consultants have a 95% util metric. Also, when did you start?
