Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

That is a lot of change all at once. Ultimately do what you think is best. But I would consider staying in the house you are in for a little while longer. Let your husband get to his goal weight. And settle into life as parents before stressing your new financial and life situation with a new mortgage. Worst case one of you can go to a coffee shop to work for a few hours if you need the space or work out on the deck/patio.
I understand the desire to want more space but I would achieve the goals you already started before adding to them.
The other option is to see if his doctor can find a way to get the drug covered maybe a different drug or a different insurance code.
Unfortunately temperatures reach well over 100 degrees during several months of the years and I am in meetings discussing company IP. I also don’t always have time to drive somewhere between meetings. This is why I rarely work at coffee shops. We discussed staying in the same house extensively, but we thought if we are having 1-2 kids and the house prices are as they are in this upcoming neighborhood, we’d probably come out ahead in the long run. My issue is that initially, he mentioned he’d use the HSA to pay for the drug. Now, he is afraid to get off it. We probably should see if there is a way to get it covered for free.
He may need the drug for his heart health. Losing weight for him might not be cosmetic but health related. Also ask your I'm doctor about grants that cover expensive medications.
He’s in the overweight category but does not have any heart problems or diabetes. This is probably why the drug is not covered. I want him to lose weight, but I wanted the drug to be something that helped him get to a weight easier to workout with. He tracks his food, but the exercise is still inconsistent.
You seem weirdly focused on the weight loss thing. Have you had a budget meeting with your husband and decided as a team how much your bills will be, how much you can save per month, and what luxuries you can let go of for a bigger house? Side hustles, OT, new job hunt, etc?
Okay well then tell your spouse that or let them come to their own conclusions. Based on what you said about buying the house it seems like you’re more against the weight loss than anything else.
I understand how you are going about it, but I don't think I would approach him with the topic.
Just read today about this. You might want to read this article. 399/mo for one month. 👇🏼

We don’t want the exorbitant mortgage payment which is why we need the current house sold ASAP, but the the builder does not do contingent offers and seems to want to build fast. In the long run, I know the house we’re is below market value and will appreciate. We’re trying to move fast to get all the incentives from the builder on top of this low market value. We want a larger house since we work from home and have a kid on the way. He doesn’t want to consider gradually reducing the dose until he is at his goal weight (50 lbs from now). We acts like is is incapable of restraint such as leaving problem foods out of the house without this drug. This may make a ~10 k difference.
Is this Ozempic?
It’s a different one I can’t remember.

I’m confused - why are you not using the equity in the current home as the down payment on the new home?
If your husband was prescribed the medication by a doctor it’s probably because he needs it and diet/exercise won’t be enough to do what the meds do. Unless he uses it for purely cosmetic reasons, asking him to sacrifice his health for a larger home doesn’t seem fair.
This builder does not accept contingent offers. We’d have to get an apartment or sell afterwards. We’ll check if the builder can be flexible on the closing date.
