No! We were long past the bar hoping stage and going out for drunken nights. We both did that big time prior to marriage, but separately w different crowds. We did however continue to go to the theatre (which we both enjoy and go frequently) and concerts, sporting events, and things such as this.
I do have friends who continued to party like they did in college but that wasn’t for us.
Idk how y’all pro-create with men that cannot come to their own conclusion that if they want happy, healthy children they will have to change their lives significantly to raise them successfully.
Yes I struggled with this for a while and had to shift my mindset on this after the second kid, since there was a gap between first and second. Was used to living a certain way and then the second one really shook it up. Was down for a while, at least half a year, and adjusted eventually. Definitely important to have breaks and support.
I have friends who are going through similar things and it really is hard. Having kids really does change your life and its a hard adjustement.
