[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

New firm >>>> old firm. If they wanted a smooth go live they should have tried harder to keep you
It’s admirable but you don’t own your current company anything. Tell them when you need to leave, make the offer to do a smooth handover but be prepared for the fact they may just ask you to go now, particularly if it’s a competitor...
I feel like I’m screwing over a lot of people by leaving but I know the new job will 100% be worth it. Larger firm, working for a mentor and more $$.
I’m the only person from my firm on the client! Everyone else was fired... it’s basically staff aug and brutal

You said you’re working for a mentor - I’m taking that means someone you have an existing relationship with.
If so, ask them honestly what’s the latest you can join without making them suffer - unless they’re short handed or starting new work and have you lined up for it, it’s may not be a big deal.
Whatta coincidence.. my bonus and promo will go live on 9.Niv
Thoughts on how the new firm will view me leaving right before a go live?? I don’t want it to reflect poorly.
Wishing you the best!
