My United Airlines status is still showing Gold for 2022 even though I didn’t qualify for gold this year. It was carried over from 2020 into 2021. Will they also carry it over into 2022 for the rest of the year? I don’t see an expiration date for my current gold status so I’m confused.

Our connecting flight from JFK at 6:10 was cancelled while we were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and we were rebooked on a 3:40 instead (2.5 hours earlier) but not notified. I received no email, text or app notification of the flight cancellation or the new flight we were placed on, so we missed it. They now cannot get us home tonight and won’t even guarantee they can get us home tomorrow, impacting my work, (cont)…
