My work is doing a holiday fair as part of a donation drive. It’s really fun to see all the different hobbies people have. It’s also a fun way to raise donations. Anyone else’s work doing holiday fun already?

I get to show off my 3d printing and laser cut ornaments which is always fun

We're not doing anything, as usual. That sounds like a blast. I'd probably show off my stupid smart home automations. Any favorite 3D printer projects? I've wanted to get one for the longest time but get overwhelmed whenever I start researching which one would be right for me.

I’ve been doing 3d printing for ages now
It’s super easy to get into now. Can’t go wrong with a Bambu A1 or A1 mini (super easy to start and can do most of the printing from your phone)

I’ve been doing a lot of wall planters and puzzle boxes for Christmas

My favorite though was printing a full set of replacement parts for my Dyson. That and a full cryptex for a Christmas scavenger hunt

We don't do anything like that at all. I really wish that we did because it sounds like it is a lot of fun!

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Thank you in advance!!

Hey guys, need some advice. I was fortunate enough to get the Consortium fellowship at Ross but am also stuck on the CBS waitlist and am still planning to apply to Wharton in R3. Assuming I get into CBS/Wharton, is there that much of a difference between them to forgo scholarship money? For context, I want to get into product management at FAANG/fintech with pursuing MBB as a plan B. Thanks in advance!

Based on the Gross salary offered I have calculated the in hand salary per month would be around 152000 considering 150000 in 80C, 50000 in NPS and 200000 deductions due to home loan interest. Total tax liability is around 400000. Any other options do I have to save tax further (other than HRA, LTA)? Thanks in advance.

Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.
