Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

Go to the Rockwell Career Center and find a list of all the contacts for every company that directly recruits from Bauer. Reach out to every contact that was provided via LinkedIn (ensure your profile looks presentable and detailed). Additionally, ensure you’re attending every networking event hosted by MISSO or by Bauer in general. I personally received my internships and full time offers by attending these events.
Also, hindsight is 20/20 but Econ is an absolutely horrendous major at UH. Unless you’re at an Ivy League institution or another comparable college (ie. Uchicago, Duke, Stanford), your job opportunities are extremely few and far between. Focus as much as you can into leveraging your MIS background. Most of us who graduated a few years back majoring in MIS had multiple full time offers to choose from with pretty high starting salaries relative to most other majors.
Reason: Economics.
You haven't already, make a Handshake account. It's a platform for college students/grads to connect with companies for job opportunities/internships. I always get recruiters reaching out about internships, job fairs, etc.
What kind of internships are you applying for?
Looking for an internship is hard and takes a lot of time. But that time does help hone your interview skills which also will help when you are searching for your post graduation job. Definitely lean on the school’s resources during your search - many companies have programs to specifically hire from schools.
Im in the same exact situation… feel ya..
