Experience:
2/3 years at B4 in m&a, and then 2/3 years in corporate strategy in large healthcare co.

Seriously contemplating going back to consulting for better pay, due to change in personal circumstances WLB is not as imp as it when I left consulting but ofc not keen on working 70/80 hours.

In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. For background: First job out of college - Senior Associate working in tech implementation with various projects under my belt.

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?
