Need compensation negotiation advice.

I have a Cognizant offer of 20.7 LPA and have completed all rounds at ICE MT with positive feedback. HR has started document collection and mentioned that a competing offer would help support compensation discussions. I also have an EY process awaiting a final decision.

If EY doesn't convert, how much leverage would I realistically have based on interview performance, experience, and hiring manager support alone?

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..

Salary question: working as a partnerships/digital content project coordinator in arts & culture and want to ask for a pay rise at my annual review. But the company is strapped for resources as we are not for profit.

5 years post-MBA and all my classmates are VPs in industry or Principals in consulting/IB (some are even Partners/MDs already).
