HI All,
I have a round 2 Scheduled for LTI.
1. R1 - Technical - last week
2. R2 - Scheduled later this week - Is it again a Technical Round ? Or is it Techno Managerial one?
3. HR Discussion : Currently they are saying they will fit based on my interview and skills, no specific project or location mentioned yet.
Any idea if this is happening for all..?

Why'd they cancel? If they canceled because the project ended, try to get some extra days. If they canceled because you weren't the right fit, then them's the breaks. Don't worry about burning a bridge to nowhere.
It’s typical, they all just assume you know everything. They just want you to “get it” even though none of this shit is clear
Look to the contract first, does it have any required notice period and what’s it say about cancellation? How is the project fee scope defined? You have a couple options.
You could make the case that since they booked your time for those dates you had to turn away other jobs and see if you can negotiate a partial kill fee.
You could say you understand this project is ending, since you were booked through (date) are there any other projects you could work on.
You could let it slide but make clear that in the future you’ll need to include an early termination clause.
Or depending on how scope was defined, you could submit an invoice for the full amount, which runs the risk of pissing them off, but they insisted on a project rate over a month rate so if you’ve met the deliverables that’s on them.
On one hand, you could stick to your guns and try to get them to see things from your point of view.
OTOH a copywriter friend lets stuff like this slide in the interest of keeping the peace with a bigger client for future work.
I know personally which way I’d handle it, but I guess the question is what can you live with?
Sounds messy. Find out why it’s cancelled. Sometimes I just accept the cancellation and move on if my fault. Other times I activate the kill fee. I always get paid for my time.
