Any of you still flying to client site?
Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

I recently joined Allstate india and my manager is forcing me to come to office twice a week. During negotiations, I had made it clear that I didn't want to work from office due to personal commitment.
Please suggest:
1. Is my understanding correct that Allstate india is currently not forcing employees to come to office and my manager is an exception?
2. How can I say no without pissing off the manager given I have just joined the company?

Target always has a great selection I love the sandal 👡 heal rn!
Not sure how often you have these kinds of events, but if they are pretty often, you Maugham consider investing in Rent The Runway or a similar subscription.
White House Black Market made it easier to find business casual / dressier business casual clothes. For shoes I usually wear a solid color pair of Tieks or closed toe ankle-high booties with a 2-3 inch heel.
I like Rothy’s shoes. Then just anything with a smart blazer. Jeans with a cute silk top work great.
Probably a business/casual dress with cardigan/blazer and kitten heels.
Would suggest that unless you’re certain of the vibe to not do jeans or open toed shoes. A casual or fun skirt/dress feels safer to me than jeans unless you’re confident others are also wearing jeans (only because a dress/skirt can go with both jeans vibe and slacks/business casual vibe whereas jeans are super noticeable when no one else is wearing them. Just my preference though!
Agree! Thank you
Anything that is business casual. Could be dark wash denim, a blazer and a simple top or a dress and a blazer with some low heels
Given where you work and the fact that it involves clients, I would not wear denim. What are your colleagues wearing? Business casual is fine but lean a bit more heavily on the “business” side.
I'd do nice casual. Clean, dark wash pair of skinny jeans with flats, a blazer/cardigan and blouse.
Nordstrom provides free styling services. Banana Republic another good head to toe option.
I use Stitch Fix freestyle. They’ll put together an outfit idea for you and if you hate the skirt or the pants or the shoes, you can click on the top or dress and get other options
Depends on the client - you want to match the formality of their company. So if they are a jeans and blazer, go for that, if they are suits (which is very much still a thing for some companies, particularly if dealing with exec suite), then you will want to do a business style tailored dress or suit. I often shop BlueFly for discount designer brands. Ann Taylor has options too for this purpose.
