Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

What do you do at a tier 1 IB for only 76k in nyc?
I’m assuming you’re back office IB and not on a deal team? You wouldn’t even be looking at 115 if you were on a deal team getting a 50k bonus. Saying your role helps here
def take the new role, the comp change alone imo is enough to jump ship. you can always re-evaluate in a year or post- pandemic, whatever makes most sent for you
Just remember that we don’t get the same kind of bonuses in consulting that you guys do in IB
Asking randomly but you work at Morgan Stanley Op?

He said it’s for risk advisory aka controls testing. You in fdd with PwC or Deloitte?
Goldman operational risk pays more than 76k starting in nyc.. should be 85-90k base. It’s considered middle office along with market & credit risk
No contest - jump ship

75k in nyc sounds pretty bad, especially 4 years out of college
