Anyone from London ?
Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.

Have you saved your conflicts form from when you lateraled the first time? If not, reach out to HR at your first firm and they should be able to help.
Fyi not actually true. Lots of matters are confidential and not available outside your firm. Also if I was conflicted off of every single thing my prior firm ever did (as opposed to just my matters), I’d never find somewhere to work. When you lateraled they should have had you do a conflicts reports.
Conflict check is less about the firm and more about the clients and the matters. Reach out to the old firm and ask for a list of matters you worked on while there. Let them know you need it for conflicts purposes.

Even though you are sure you were not adverse to the new firm, clients switch firms so there could still be a conflict. As A1 suggested, if you didn’t keep your conflicts sheet from the last time you lateraled, reach out to the old firm. They have an interest in ensuring you continue to preserve conflicts and should have no issue giving you a list of all the matters you billed to.
In a pinch, I have also searched my name on PACER/Case Search to find cases I was an attorney of record in.
