Anyone aware of TCS hiring process? How many days normally they take for the process. I had an interview yesterday both technical and Managerial. After that HR confirmed me over mail that I have cleared the interview rounds and asked to fill all the details on their portal. However, I haven't got any update today so I am just curious how many days they normally take to verify docs and proceed to HR discussion?Tata Consultancy Wipro Infosys IBM Accenture

Depends on the depreciation curve for the model. Stainless Rolex, PP, AP Royal Oak, most VC either stay flat or appreciate and you might have to wait or make other purchases to buy new. So pre-owned is a good option plus there are reputable sellers you can trust.
Breitling , Piaget, Breguet, blancpain, omega…. Probably lose about 1/3 of value the second you buy them. If you find one you really like in good condition from someone you trust…. I’d go for it and save the money.
Luxury watches? “Is it after 2023” is my threshold.
Superclones have gotten terrifyingly good.
My threshold is analyzing the story behind me owning it. How difficult is it to procure new vs. used? Does the model have much meaning to me or do I just like the watch design on an impulse and would enjoy wearing it? Do I plan to hold it forever and pass it on or resell it later? Am I buying it to celebrate an event or milestone?
In general, I veer new because my purchases tend to be intentional for meaningful events. But used is certainly a worthwhile avenue, particularly for models where new is prohibitively difficult
I bought 3 used ones from total collection of 15
JLC Memovox: not possible to get new for a fair price, 12 month service warranty. Needed it as the rotor didnt wind the watch anymore
LUC hour strike white gold. There are no new ones out there, price was good. Issue with the date function. Shared the service cost of 2.4k with the seller. Still a good deal
Porsche Design Military chronograph from the 80s, no new watches out there. Needed a service of 100bucks
I prefer new but grey
If you buy used, calculate the service cost into the price. Most likely you will need it soon
