Been on a project for 2 weeks and thinking it’s not for me. The manager is kind of rude when I ask for help/direction, but he always says to ask if things are uncertain. He always has this condescending attitude and just keeps telling me that he expects more of someone at my level, C. Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
