Hi everyone…we currently hired a “marketing assistant” who has no degree or experience in marketing or design. I’m being asked to train them, their background is retail so they’re not even familiar with basic corporate programs (Microsoft & outlook). Is it wrong to be offended? 😂 I’ve being studying graphic design since HS, my degree is Visual communications/graphic design. Now I’m being asking to just “show them” how to use the creative suite for graphics!!

Job post vs. job description???? Why shouldn’t we use already prepared job postings as our internal job description? Why are these separate? I understand the marketing aspect, but can’t the responsibilities on the JD and job post look exactly the same? Please help!! Huge project to start asap.

Guys I need help. I'm from Orchard learning and completed it in July. After that I've been on bench since July . I was trained on Cloud and DevOps technologies. I've interest in Web development and having hands on HTML CSS Bootstrap JS and ReactJs.
Question is should I be in Mindtree till my next promotion to C2 or should I switch after completion of 1 year in Mindtree? What hike can I expect for Web developer after switching.
I'm having total 14 months experience including Mindtree.

In cases where CTC break down shows inclusive of gratuity, should one negotiate to consider desired hike exclusive gratuity ( considering gratuity is per the no. years subject to completion of 4.7yrs)

Analyst here at a firm that begins with A. Got an offer with a research lab doing cyber/ ISSO stuff. Pays more than a make now and more than I’d make until I hit senior consultant or manager even. Growth however I think is slower but I’d be doing more technical work. Worth leaving consulting for this?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.
