Hello- looking for advice on a career pivot and location change.

Practicing attorney for 3 years, commercial real estate. Enjoy CRE, tired of legal work. Hoping to pivot and spend some time abroad- ideally in the UK. It looks like a good way to do so is through an MBA or MSC there.

This seems like a good opportunity to pivot, and spend some time abroad to test the waters/see if staying long term is really viable. Added benefit of doing MBA there is the student visa.

Thoughts?

Do you know anyone who did an intra-company transfer from their US firm to India? Was it a lateral move or 1 level up? Salary range vs US pay? Were you/they able to negotiate relocation expenses?

Can your company legally prohibit or retaliate against you for openly discussing your compensation level in California?

Missed the comp presentation - are consultants getting a "market raise" next year?

A friend has offers for Bain and BCG Dubai at the consultant level (joining just after his MBA) and he is confused on which one to take. Any thoughts to help him make a decision? Things he cares about are total compensation, career progression, mobility/ transfers to other offices and casework focus on tech (if any).

I have 10 yoe in Mainframe, ccctc -10L. I have below 2 offer:
infosys - 22.29L.
JPMorgan Chase - 27L, still negotiation going on (also have h1b visa if that matters in negotiation).
I am planning to join in JP Morgan. This is going to be my first company switch (working at onshore since last few years) so wanted to know below things:
1). Is 27L is good enough for 10 yoe resource ? I have seen people joining 24-25L at 4 yoe.
2). How is asset and wealth management (AWM)..? JP Morgan

I'm at a weird career juncture. I've been a PM working on a SaaS product related to cyber security, but I have two potential opportunities in front of me:

1. SaaS PM position at a large cyber security company would keep open broad opportunities in a huge and growing industry.
