Def not San Antonio it’s boring asf there Houston and Austin. I would say Dallas of toy like swanky vibes.
San Antonio and or Austin
Austin is more fun if you’re just visiting one city. If you go to Dallas (more big city vibes where Austin is more quirky), def plan one day for Ft. Worth.
Austin and go out to wine country in Fredericksburg
Depends on your interests. If you are into live music/bar scene, definitely Austin. Austin is hilly and has some good nature spots nearby. If you are into museums, arts and sports I would say Dallas/Ft worth. Ft worth provides a nice contrast to Dallas if you want to checkout western/cowboy vibes. San Antonio - I would avoid. Alamo and river walk are not what they are made out to be. There is plenty to do in both places for 3-4 days and you can always decide to do a trip to Austin from Dallas. It is a 3.5 hour drive. Do rent a car as distances are huge in TX and Uber will be too costly.
