Ok so I know executive education programs are just a scammy money grab from business schools, but if my employer pays is there any benefit either to a certificate on my resume, personal network, or perception at my current job? (I'm in a strategy role and definitely understand the business side of things, but have no formal business education)

I was hired a few months ago by D to do data science. I am not doing data science currently, is there a way I can switch roles internally? Should I talk to my coach? Or should I just start looking for a new job. I’m starting to feel that the field is so hot rn my small stint at D won’t be a big deal to other firms.

Curretnt CTC: 21 LPA

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?
