Bill for every damn minute. If they want your time, they pay for it.
Bill for your time and be honest, it's as simple as that. When I was billing hourly I would use my own judgment. For instance, if I did something after hours and it took five minutes I wouldn't charge an extra hour for that. The organizations I worked with trusted me and never really second guessed what I submitted.
It’s easy to get anxious about looking needy but you worked those minutes you should be paid for them.
Don't feel that way, you worked those hours and the company employed you do that job with that in mind - if anything I'd round up to the nearest half an hour or hour so it's better to bill!
